Would a chocolate brown hair color go with olive skin?

I know, stupid question, but this color that I want isn't your average brown. And the picture may be really weird, but haha, it's the color that I want. I also have hazel eyes, more so green.

Yes it would.

The thing about dying your hair, is that a coloyr can basically suit ANYONE, it's just a matter of getting used to it.

I love the picture by the way ^^

Awe cute puppy!!

I think that color would look amazing with olive skin. It will probably make your eyes look super green too!

Where did the expression 'hair of the dog' come from..?

I know it is sorting a hangover with another drink but where did it come from?

Where did the expression 'hair of the dog' come from..?

An alcoholic beverage consumed as a hangover rememdy. The phrase comes from the expression "hair of the dog that bit you", meaning that the best cure for what ails you is to have some more of it. In ancient times it was literally used to say that if a dog were to bite you, putting the dog's hair into the wound would heal it. "Like cures like". This hangover remedy is not recommended because a) it leads to a bad habit of drinking during the day and b)it doesn't really work very well. Still, this method works about as well as most other hangover remedies.

Steve: Man, I'm really paying for all those keg stands I did last night.

Tony: Yeah, I'm hurting too. Hair of the dog?

Steve: Why not, man. We got a few beers left in the fridge.

Don't know, but Jack Nicholson said it in "The Shining"!!! :)

Where did the expression 'hair of the dog' come from..?

The phrase "Hair of the Dog" is predominately used to refer to imbibing an alcoholic beverage to cure a hangover, although it has seen limited use with respect to other drugs. The intent in so imbibing is to lessen or postpone the effects of the hangover, or the withdrawal from that drug. It is a shortened form of the phrase "The hair of the dog that bit you".

Where did the expression 'hair of the dog' come from..?

"The origin of the phrase is unclear, but instances of the phrase have appeared in English literature since the time of Shakespeare."

Where did the expression 'hair of the dog' come from..?

The full phrase is "Hair of the dog that bit you". If the "dog that bit you", or gave you the hangover, was wine, then a little bit of wine the next day should cure the hangover. A "hair" of wine, rather than a full dog!

Where did the expression 'hair of the dog' come from..?

It was believed before that if a dog bit you, the only way to cure any sicknesss brought on by the bite would be to consume some of that dog's hair

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

"I do not think it means what you think it means."

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

Yes, it refers to the practice of, when hungover, drinking what one drank the previous evening, in an attempt to cure the hangover.

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

No, and I couldn't imagine what it means, is it one of those small town bumpkin sayings?

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

Sure enough....it means in order to cure your hangover...drink some of what you had the night before....I never could do it though

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

The complete phrase is "hair of the dog that bit you," and refers to the practice of having a drink to help soothe a hangover.

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

nope but iv heard of the eye of the tiger if that helps

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

Sure. My alcoholic father lived by it. It's trying to cure last night's hangover by waking up and drinking more of the same.

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

Yeah, you wake up with a massive hangover and drink what you had last night or a Bloody Mary. Some drink a warm beer but I can't stand that.

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

yes, and I can't even imagine doing that this morning-yuck-drank 3 beers and a litre of wine-yes a whole litre and there is no way I'm putting another drink in my mouth

until 5 ;-D

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

Yes, I have heard the phrase. I will not repeat what it means, b/c all of the other P%26amp;S's have already done so.

Ever heard the phrase: "Hair of the dog."?

Yeah, the drinking/hangover thing. But also a great song by Nazareth!!! Not sure why they call it that though- other than I guess it can also mean revenge

What is wrong with my dog?

I have a cocker spaniel and when I got home from work today he is going nuts on his tail. He has pulled out most of the longer hairs and won't quit chewing on it and now he is groaning. I looked at the tail and I can see nothing wrong with it. Could it be fleas? Isn't it too cold for fleas? I live in Northern MN. Am I going to have to bring him to the Vet?

What is wrong with my dog?

It's never too cold for fleas ;) But he has to be around something that had fleas - another dog, dog's blanket, in a house with fleas, etc. and that's unlikely in Northern MN in January. Plus they don't usually inhabit the tail.

Is he chewing on the end of the tail or closer to the base? He may have compacted anal glands that need to be expressed. (If you've never done it before, you might want to see the vet - they smell bad. BAD!)

Is it possible that he caught the tail and broke the tip? Or is having a skin reaction?

What is wrong with my dog?

fleas

What is wrong with my dog?

Sounds like fleas or a skin irritation... give her a bath and watch her... if it doesn't stop... call a vet...

What is wrong with my dog?

it's fleas or ticks. something is biting his tail other than himself

What is wrong with my dog?

It could be fleas, allergies, or anal gland problems. I would call your vet and ask if they think that you should bring the dog in.

What is wrong with my dog?

dogs get what they call "hot spots", it may be that and can be treated with creme from a vet

What is wrong with my dog?

Yes, bring him to a vet, My dog is a Husky, and she started biting on her paw alot and we took her to the vet and she had little bacteria on her paw...and ti makes her chew until she breaks skin..and then will create a lick spot..and and open wound for an infection...get it checked out

What is wrong with my dog?

sounds like fleas - go to the vet, get frontline on him today and get them to give him a hydrocortisone injection to stop the itch until the frontline works. If he is infested with them, get the injection and bath him in anti -flea shampoo, dry him with hair dyer and then put on frontline tonight

What is wrong with my dog?

Dogs are prone to mites in the winter, well all year round but dry winter air makes them more irritating to dogs. I suggest taking him to a vet to double check cause it could also be just dry skin.

But if it is mites you vet can put you onto a good brand of mite controll, i think there is a shampoo for it but im not sure.

What is wrong with my dog?

maybe the dog is bored. My does that all day unless I play with her.

What is wrong with my dog?

it's probably not fleas.. i'd take him to the vet

What is wrong with my dog?

Check out my cocker too!! Her name is Coco. What I can tell you by experience, it could very well be dry skin. You could try to get a conditioning shampoo, or better yet.....have your vet give him a good check up. Im sure it's nothing to worry about. Im glad to see your love for your pup.

What is wrong with my dog?

In a word, yes. Could be worms, constipation, almost anything. A trip to the vet is imperative.

What is wrong with my dog?

It is probably fleas....My daughter just went through the same thing with their dog...took her to the vet and they gave her a shot to kill the fleas...then put some stuff on the back of her neck to keep fleas from reinfecting her...they also had to treat the house...Fleas love the area at the top of the tail area where it meets the buttocks....you need to take him to the vet.

Has nothing to do with being unclean...fleas live in the soil...and when a dog goes outside...they jump on them.

Please...your dog is suffering...take him to the vet.

What is wrong with my dog?

It is possibly flees ... However there is a thing called HOT SPOT . It's like a allergic reaction . The more it is irritated the worse it gets ... If it is , the area would show redness . Just make sure it stays clean and put some Neosporin on it . Also Benedril has anti inflammatory ... Try a half a pill to start ... Good luck

What is wrong with my dog?

Could be an allergy. It's vet time!

What is wrong with my dog?

It most likely is fleas. Poor little dog, get him some frontline, advantage, revolution, or advantix (only use advantix if you don't have cats as it is very toxic to them).

You could buy a single dose from your vet which will cost you about 15 dollars just to see if that's the problem. Most of these products kill the fleas in a matter of hours. Just avoid the stuff you can buy at Wal Mart etc. They are ineffective and can cause serious problems.

If this doesn't stop your dog's tail destruction, take him to the vet. Fleas are the #1 cause of hot spots.

It's not your fault that your dog got fleas, it happens. As long as you get him treated, no problem.

Good luck

What is wrong with my dog?

If its flea's all you dog has to do is go out side to get them..It also could be worms..You can treat both very east....For flea's bath your dog with Dawn dish soap lots of it lather..You will see the flea's quick with the soap and water..If you see them, get Frontline..Works the best... If it's worms, well you know where to look...(poop). Sounds like flea's to me...Oh, it's not to cold for flea's.. The dog will bring them in the house...(Even if your house is spotless) Good Luck !!

What is wrong with my dog?

You do not have to be pigs for your dog to have fleas. The dog can get fleas from one trip outside. Especially if he has had any kind of contact with another animal. There is a medicine you can purchase at retail stores such as Walmart for fleas, that is easily applied. You put it on their backs from the neck to the tail, right down the spine. If that doesnt work, I would take some of the previous suggestions, and go to a vet. Shouldn't cost too much. 30-50 bucks for a visit.

What is wrong with my dog?

it sounds like flees or irritation. His skin may be very sensitive and the shampoo that you are using is hard on his body. I use this all natural shampoo for any pet. It will help his skin and like i said t is all natural so it will help him. you can look it up at fleatea.com it is very easy and affective.

What is wrong with my dog?

SOUNDS LIKE HE IS HAVING SEPARATION ANXIETY--BE SURE HE GETS (ALOT) OF EXERCISE!!

What is wrong with my dog?

Just take him to the vet. This could be very serious and you are just sitting around asking questions! Sorry but it's true.

How are Long Hair Chihuahuas?

Are they good family dogs? Do they get along with cats?

How are Long Hair Chihuahuas?

Chihuahuas are one people dogs, most of the time. They are too small for little children and can get seriously hurt if stepped on. They are the number one biting dog in the USA. If they were the size of pit bulls they would have the bad rep and not the pit bulls. Mine get along great with the cats but they need to be raised with them or they will torment them.

How are Long Hair Chihuahuas?

Chihuahuas are wonderful dogs!! I do not recommend them for smaller kids, less than 6 years old. They can do very well with cats if they are raised with them.

How are Long Hair Chihuahuas?

they are good family dogs and some can get along with cats

How are Long Hair Chihuahuas?

If you get them at a young age and they are around cats growing up they usually are okay, the same with children but need to be watched carefully because they break easy. They do tend to bark alot and may be alittle nippy when it comes to others coming into your house. When you get a puppy make sure their skull is closed and that they are not what you call a bubble head. Usually you have 24 hrs to take to vet for check up to make sure it is okay and if not may return. If you get a puppy make sure to put alittle surgar in its water because they tend to get hypoglosymia (sp) (low blood surgar) and can go into coma. If it starts acting very tierd and clubsy put some karo syrup on its tounge or honey and get it to the vet. Good Luck

How are Long Hair Chihuahuas?

i have 1, and she is one of teh best dogs ever%26lt;3 you should really get 1

How are Long Hair Chihuahuas?

I have 2 and they are wonderful pets. Some tend to ge attached to one person though and can get snippy. Always keep an eye on them if they will be around small children.

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

The full phrase is "Hair of the dog that bit you". It is most often referred to when talking about the use of alcohol as a hangover-cure.

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

someone drank too much the night before

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

It is hair of the dog that bit you.

It means when you wake up with a hangover from the alcohol you drank last night, you drink some more to ease the hangover.

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

an alcoholic drink supposed to cure a hangover

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

The expression is commonly used now when a person, after heavy drinking, is advised to take a "cure," such as a small brandy or bitters.

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

don't know but good question

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

Having a big hangover.

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

The whole phrase is "hair of the dog that bit you"...meaning taking a swig of whatever you drank the night before to help with a hangover!

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

Take something to combat what you had previously, you had the dog so now just have the hair to see you through

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

I was wondering too when I heard the expression. I looked it up. The metaphore is that the remedy is from the "hair of the dog that bit you" The hair being more ethanol the next morning and the dog bite is the hangover. If somebody does that, they are probably an alcoholic.

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

"The phrase you're looking for is "hair of the dog that bit you," and it is a metaphor for the dubious practice of curing a hangover after a night of heavy drinking by simply drinking a bit more of whatever gave you the hangover in the first place. I believe that most medical authorities agree that this method will, at best, simply delay the onset of a probably even worse hangover. At worst, you'll end up drunk and hungover simultaneously.

While "hair of the dog that bit you" may not work as a hangover cure, it is interesting because it arose as an allusion to an older practice, that of treating dog bites with a poultice containing the hair of the offending dog itself. The metaphorical "hangover cure" use of "hair of the dog that bit you" dates back to about 1546, while the practice of actually putting dog hair on bites is much older (and even less effective)."

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

A hair of the dog that bit you! ......meaning...you need just a 'lil bit of whatever it was that you had (in large quantities) the night before. Just a smidgen of it should take care of that hangover you woke up with!

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

Superstitious belief that eating some hairs from a dog that has bitten you will ward of rabies.

Taking a few morning after drinks of the same alcoholic beverage you got drunk on the the night before to offset a hangover. (bad idea)

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

When someone has gotten drunk ,the next

morning, they drink a shot of whatever they drank the night before. It's "suppose" to "take the edge off". That way, they avoid a head-ache.

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

The meaning is (usually) take more of what ever it was that made you feel bad (e.g. more alcohol will "cure" a hangover).

The source for this is that long ago (17-18th C.), there was a belief that if a person was bitten by a rabid dog, eating (or somehow consuming) some hair from that specific dog would somehow cure you. This is, needless to say, false. As is the belief that more alcohol will fix a hangover (lots of water is pretty much the only fix, as a hangover is caused by dehydration, which comes on because alcohol is a diuretic).

What does the phrase "hair of the dog mean"?

Having a drink to help your hangover.

It's really "a hair of the dog that bit you" and it it refers to the belief that if a dog bites you the wound will heal better and faster if you place some of the hair from it on the bite.

Oh, by the way it is a terrible idea to have a drink to cure a hangover. Please don't.

Broom or Electric Sweeper?

Carpet sweeper

A carpet sweeper is a mechanical device for the cleaning of carpets in place. They were popular before the vacuum cleaner and have been largely superseded by them.

However, some restaurant chains continue to use them (e.g. Perkins) as they are lightweight and very quiet, enabling the waitstaff to quickly clean crumbs up from the floor without disturbing other diners. Carpet Sweepers are still available from major chains like Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

A carpet sweeper typically consists of a small box. The base of the box has rollers and brushes, connected by a belt or gears. There is also a container for dirt. The arrangement is such that when pushed along a floor the rollers turn and force the brushes to rotate. The brushes sweep dirt and dust from the floor into the container. Carpets sweepers would frequently have a height adjustment that enabled them to work on different lengths of carpet, or carpetless floors. The sweeper would usually have a long handle so that it could be pushed without bending over.

The carpet sweeper was reinvented at the beginning of the 21st century, and fitted with an electric motor to spin the rollers and brushes. The device was rechargeable.

Patented by Melville R. Bissell of Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, in 1876. Manufactured %26amp; sold starting in 1883.

In some areas of the U.S., carpet sweepers are colloquially known as a "hoky" after the HOKY brand sweeper; the reference is used in either noun form ("Where is the hoky?") or in verb form ("Are you going to hoky the floor?").

Cheers :)

My dog is chewing on his tail and pulling the hair out why is he doing it. he's a husky?

my dog is a husky and he's suposse to have a big fluffy tail but he is pulling the hair out of it so it looks like the fur has been cut and stumpy. and i don't know why he's doing this. i thought he would stop doing it after awhile but he's not he just keeps pulling out the hair and chewing on it he's been doing this for over a year so i'm starting to worry.

My dog is chewing on his tail and pulling the hair out why is he doing it. he's a husky?

He may have a skin allergy or a case of hypothyroidism. "Hot spots" can cause him to pull his own hair out in order to stop the itching and burning. Of course this will make it even more irritated. Try taking him to a vet to see if there really is a skin condition, or if there is a way to keep him from doing it. You could possibly wrap the tail in gauze to keep him from biting it until after you've made an appt. with the vet.

My dog is chewing on his tail and pulling the hair out why is he doing it. he's a husky?

Does he do it chasing his tail?..( ihad a lab do it) or is he chewing like it itches.....if its been a year..its prob not mange..but could be a nerve problem, i would ask a vet in severe cases the dog will maul its own tail...nreed ing amputaton.

My dog is chewing on his tail and pulling the hair out why is he doing it. he's a husky?

Have you brought him to the vet to see if it's caused by a medical problem? Possibly allergies? If it's not medical, there are sprays sold at pet stores that you can spray on his fur (make sure to read the label carefully) that will keep him from chewing on his fur.

Good luck!

My dog is chewing on his tail and pulling the hair out why is he doing it. he's a husky?

i definitely think it is an allergy...i would go to the vet...if his back hind is balding i have seen many cases of mange....but chewing on the tail is prob an allergy

My dog is chewing on his tail and pulling the hair out why is he doing it. he's a husky?

He probably has some sort of allergy. I would try to spray some cortisone spray on it to relieve the itching. You should really take him to the vet to get tested for allergies. If my dog gets bit by a flea he will get red eyes and his nose will start itching. He also chews on his tail. If it is fleas all you can do is control the environment. Treating just him isn't enough because what they are allergic to is the fleas saliva. So if you have them in the carpet or in the yard they are still going to jump on him and he will still have a reaction when they bite him.

It could even be a food allergy. You might want to try to put them on a diet without wheat or flour. I have a beagle that has that one.

My dog is chewing on his tail and pulling the hair out why is he doing it. he's a husky?

It's been over a year and now you worry? Please! One main indicator of a thyroid problem in dogs is they gnaw their tail non-stop. Nothing works. No fleas. They just gnaw the tail. There can also be changes in behaviour/personality.

I went silly for a few months watching my pit doing this. Tried everything. Even took up the carpet to eliminate any fleas. Can't fuss at you because I should have known sooner myself.

Our country vet took one look and did the bloodwork. They also gain weight bad. Might be harder to tell with all the fur yours has. Get him to the vet and make sure he tests thyroid first. Look for internal cause for itching. If all that is fine then I would question a nerve problem in the spine that is causing a pain or bad sensation in the tail. Like when your foot falls asleep and you rub it to get the circulation going. Even a hip problem. Good luck. Hope he gets better.

I need a new vacuum cleaner, but am on a budget. What kind should I get?

i had a bagless, and hated it, i was constantly taking it apart to clean the filters. I have a little pomeranian that sheds alot, so I need one that is good picking up dog hair. Thanks!

I need a new vacuum cleaner, but am on a budget. What kind should I get?

Sorry, but you get what you pay for. There is no cheap vacuum that will give you satisfaction, especially for animal hair.

If you can figure out a way to get the money for a Dyson, you will find out that even the most expensive vacuums don't compare. I spent $450 on a Dyson Animal D-17 and discovered that my other vacuum was a joke in comparison. I can't describe the difference other than to say that if you get one, get ready to empty the thing every few minutes the first couple of times you vacuum your house. After I first put it together, I did a 2' by 2' test spot in the living room and got enough dirt to fill up the chamber in just about two minutes.

I need a new vacuum cleaner, but am on a budget. What kind should I get?

I need a new vacuum cleaner, but am on a budget. What kind should I get?

We have a Hoover Windtunnel that we got from WalMart very reasonable. I have always liked Hoovers. They last a long time, very easy to work on if you need to change a belt or anything, and reasonable. Go to hoover.com and do some research on their different vacuums. I currently have a Hoover Windtunnel for home and for my business I have a Windtunnel Canister, Hoover C1404, Lightweight Upright Cleaner, and Hoover C1660900, Commercial Bagless Upright.

I need a new vacuum cleaner, but am on a budget. What kind should I get?

I would have to agree with Whodathunkit, in that you do get what you pay for as far as vacuum cleaners go.

I had a bagless Eureka vacuum (maybe about $80-90 at Walmart when I bought it three years ago) but just recently bought a Dyson DC-18 Slim. There really is no comparison! Plus, you might find that, with the replacement parts of a cheaper vacuum needing to be replaced more often, it can add up pretty quickly. The filters on my Eureka cost $20 each and they recommended they be changed several times a year, so eventually I would have spent the same amount of money just maintaining that vacuum, which doesn't work nearly as well. You also have to change belts with cheaper vacuums or spend money on filter bags, and that adds up too. I do like the fact that Dysons have a lifetime filter--all you have to do is wash it out every 3 months, not buy a brand new one--and no bags. So, in the long run, I'll probably end up saving money having a Dyson rather than my old Eureka.

Just an idea as far as saving a little money, if you do decide on a Dyson or some other, more expensive brand. If you have either a Bed, Bath %26amp; Beyond or a Linens %26amp; Things store in your area, check to see if they carry the one you're looking for. If so, those stores will send you 20% off coupons if you sign up for their mailing list. I used a 20% off coupon on my Dyson, which brought a vacuum that would have been $469, $500 with tax, down to just $400 with tax. And, the older Dyson models that have been around a while are cheaper than that. So, if you look around, you might be able to do something like that to bring the cost down a little bit.

How much do english bulldogs shed?

I want an english bulldog but I'm concerned about how much they shed. I don't like dog hair everywhere

How much do english bulldogs shed?

They shed quite a bit.

How much do english bulldogs shed?

::laughing::

More than you would imagine. I made the mistake of wearing a black shirt while working on a white bulldog at the dog spa. Half an hour later my table and I were both covered in hair...

How much do english bulldogs shed?

Bulldogs shed much more than you might think. Their short, coarse hairs come off on your hands when you pet them, and stick tenaciously to your carpeting, upholstery, and clothing.

How much do english bulldogs shed?

I have an english bull dog, and let me tell ya they shed like crazy! But its realy easy to vacume up. And the dog are the cutest, most fun, funnyest dogs I have ever seen! You should by one....they make up for the shedding.

How much do english bulldogs shed?

They shed like any other dog will, just love it and clean up... life goes on.

How much do english bulldogs shed?

A neighbour has one and it really does shed a lot. It's hard to believe this dog that seems to have hardly any fur at all leaves so much wherever he goes.

Just a side note all dogs shed even the ones people tell you don't. If you don;t like hair please don;t get a dog. You will find it way too frustrating to deal with.

How much do english bulldogs shed?

I have one and the shedding is kept to a minimal by curry brushin daily I also bath and blow dry once a month but I would do htis with anydog.

When they say hair of the dog when having a hangover what does it mean?

It means to have a drink of whatever you were drinking that got you that way.

When they say hair of the dog when having a hangover what does it mean?

It means to drink more.

When they say hair of the dog when having a hangover what does it mean?

Hair of the dog that bit you, as in a sip of the drink that got you pissed

When they say hair of the dog when having a hangover what does it mean?

It's from the advice, "Take a hair of the dog that bit you" to cure a dog bite. Apparently, if you laid a hair of the dog that bit you over a dog bite, it would cure the bite (that's assuming that you could get a hair from an angry, biting dog. Not easy!)

As a hangover cure, it means drink some of the drink that gave you a hangover. It's a homeopathic cure--you take in some of the substance that harmed you.

It works sometimes for allergies. For hangovers...uh, not really. More alcohol isn't the answer.

Though many people do take a hair of the dog as a cure.

When they say hair of the dog when having a hangover what does it mean?

hairthe hair of the dog that bit u took ur poptart and ate it, so

Kenmore progressive vacuum cleaner!?

anyone own a kenmore progressive vacuum cleaner!? I am in the market for a really great vacuum, at a resonable price, (unlike dyson's)! i have read good and bad reviews on the progressive! I have a black lab and I need a great vaccum to get up all that dog hair! Please let me know what you think and also what kind of progressive you have! THANK YOU!

Kenmore progressive vacuum cleaner!?

I have a Progressive canister (sorry, couldn't find the model number) and it is terrible!! I have had many Kenmores in the past ...both canisters and uprights... and this is the first one that stinks! It blows more dog hair out the back vent than it picks up...the cord does not rewind properly...it sometimes shorts out depending on the way the hose connection is turned...

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

vitamins for poor nutrition and falling hair

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

Multi Vitamins, especially Vitamin E, give him a balanced diet including vegetables. Don't add salt in his meals. Check his hair and ensure to rid of any dandruff or scaly skin.

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

sometimes hairloss in a dog is related to a thyroid problem or some other chronic disease. Make sure to check that out with your vet. I think vitamin E is what you are talking about though.

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

i would give them vitiam a, b, and c

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

All

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

You should go to your vet., because hair loss can be from numerous problems like flea allergies, mange, thyroid problems

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

Hair loss in dogs can be from allergies and if this is the case dont bother buying expensive vet meds all you need is benadril trust me my dog has benn on it for almost a year

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

Try a brush - Dogs shed.

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

Lack of vitamins is impossible if you are feeding good quality branded dog food. Plus it doesn't cause your dog to go bald.

Stop messing about and get your dog to a vet.

Your dog may be unable to absorb some nutrients, or may have a thyroid deficiency. You can't diagnose or treat this but your vet can.

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

take him to the vets could be a skin problem

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

Brewers yeast from the health food store sprinkled on their food every day really helps keep coat healthy and shiny. Make sure they are free of parasites like worms because this can cause coat problems.

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

Change the quality of your dog food, poor nutrition, and chronic hair loss may also be signs of thyroid problems,

or other diseases. The vets have a really tasty vitamin for dogs. Does your dog have poor nutrition from poor quality dog food, or because she/he won't eat it?

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

i dont know where u live, but i took mi pet 2 banfield (a pet clinic) and they prscribed her this spray stuff tht u spray on their food %26amp; its like vitamins which really wrk!

-閳?

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

Brewer's Yeast is a good source for your dog plus it has an extra advantage as it's an old home remedy for repelling ticks and fleas. Omega 3 is good too, I use a product called SHED RELIEF which has Linatone and a host of other vitamins and supplements that will be a great advantage for your dog.

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

I would first take your dog to the vet to rule out any medical condition. If that is not the case look at the food that you are feeding your dog allot of the nutrients your dog needs for A healthy coat you can get in A good dog food like Puriana one lamb and rice I had A Dalmatian that used to shed nonstop I started to feed her that and she slowed don on the shedding A great deal I also bought these pills that had omega 3 fatty acids with garlic they really decrease the shedding I bought these pills at walmart 3.97 A bottle and they say the garlic in the pills helps with fleas I still used flea and tick medicine though

What type of vitamins do i have to my dog for falling hair?

IT MAY NOT BE THAT YOUR DOG NEEDS VITAMINS ALONE. SOME DOGS NEED A SPECIAL DIET. CHEAP FOOD CAN CAUSE HAIR LOSS. TRY BUYING A MORE EXPENSIVE FOOD WITH OMEGA THREE FATTY ACIDS. YOU MIGHT ALSO ASK YOUR VET ABOUT FEEDING HIM SCIENCE DIET WHICH IS ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH YOUR VET. ALSO, DON'T OVER BATHE HIM. WHEN YOU DO, TRY USING A NON DETERGEANT SHAMPOO FOR DOGS. ALSO BRUSHING HIM ON A REGULAR BASIS MAY HELP. IT WILL REMOVE THE DEAD HAIR AND STIMULATE HIS HAIR FOLLICULES

Any natural, non-toxic rabbit repellants that work?

A friend is having trouble with rabbits eating her tulips. Here is what she has tried already: critter repellent, but they don't seem to mind. Hot sauce on the leaves (don't do this, but bunnys don't mind, and it kills the leaves),dog hair around the plants, garlic around the plants. Bear in mind that she has children and pets, so can't use anything toxic. Are there any home remedies or natural solutions to keep the rabbits out of her garden? Thanks!

Any natural, non-toxic rabbit repellants that work?

Q: I am having trouble keeping rabbits from my shrubs and flowers. I have used liquid fence in the past. It seems to help, but it is so darned expensive. I read about using hot pepper spray on your Web site. Could you please e-mail your recipe for this spray? (e-mail reference)

A: Red cayenne, Jalapeno or habanera fresh peppers can be used in the preparation, but be careful if you use habanera because the capsaicin concentration is high enough to cause serious damage to the preparer! Jalapenos should be hot enough to keep the bunnies away. The quickest way to come up with a concoction is to take three fresh peppers and run them through a food processor with enough water added to create a liquid. Pour the liquid through a cheesecloth mesh into a glass quart jar. Add about 2 tablespoons of olive or other vegetable oil, a squirt of Elmer閳ユ獨 glue and a drop or two of liquid dishwashing detergent. Use one part of the concentration to 10 parts water. Shake well just before application. This should discourage the bunnies without hurting them. If not, then make the concentration stronger, to 30 percent, or just go up to the cayenne pepper for extra heat. Be sure to reapply after new growth appears or after a good rain.

Any natural, non-toxic rabbit repellants that work?

Wallace and Gromit latest movie. Duuuh.

Any natural, non-toxic rabbit repellants that work?

Try sliced up Irish Spring. Yes, it sounds weird, but we have found that it works for deer who seem to love hostas.

Any natural, non-toxic rabbit repellants that work?

Use hot pepper wax spray, is non toxic, or just leave dogs and cats outside at night.

Any natural, non-toxic rabbit repellants that work?

Four suggestions:

1. If your friend lives anywhere near a zoo, tiger (or presumably any other big cat) dung. Of course, that might attract the kids as much as it repels the rabbits (and maybe her pets).

2. Companion planting: there are some plants like alliums (onion family) that repel certain animals by their smell, and by interplanting those with the tulips the rabbits might be put off. Unfortunately I don't know which ones work with rabbits.

3. An active, hunting cat will certainly keep the numbers down. However it might also bring home trophies.

4. A physical barrier, such as a fence. My father, a retired market gardener, discovered the hard way that to succeed with a rabbit-proof fence it must extend at least 18 inches under ground - any less, and the rabbits will simply dig under the fence.

Does the hair of a dog with parvo fall out?and if it does are there scabs there?

I have never heard of this symptom. The only signs of parvo I know of is vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite, dehydration, and lethargy.

Does the hair of a dog with parvo fall out?and if it does are there scabs there?

When my puppy had parvo, he never lost any hair or had scabs. Not sure what that would be.

Does the hair of a dog with parvo fall out?and if it does are there scabs there?

What you are describing sounds more like mange or some other skin related issue.

You should take the dog to the vet for a skin scrapping. Some mange and other skin fungi can spread to humans, so be careful.

Does the hair of a dog with parvo fall out?and if it does are there scabs there?

Hair loss and scabs have nothing to do with Parvo. It may have to do with mange, fleas, ringworm, allergies, skin infection, or hypothryoidism.

Does the hair of a dog with parvo fall out?and if it does are there scabs there?

Scabs and hair falling out aren't symptoms of Parvo. I should know I've breed dogs most of my life. I reccomend taking your dog to the vet to see what it does have.

Does the hair of a dog with parvo fall out?and if it does are there scabs there?

ok.. I was going to answer yes to both because of a disease a dog had at the shelter! But to make sure I didnt give you the wrong answer I did some research, since I want to be a vet, I have all these vet books!

No for both! Parvo is a disease that atacts the immune system, making them normaly have bloody diarehea.

Also it normaly happens in puppy, but not always!!

If your dog does have parvo, which I'm assuming it does, take it to your vet, and keep it away from other dogs, because this is an easily spread disease! Also I would work fast because ti can kill your dog if it is not treated fast enough!

Good Luck! :)

Does the hair of a dog with parvo fall out?and if it does are there scabs there?

Parvo involves a virus that attacks the intestinal system causing awful diarrhea, vomiting, and blood in both.

If your dog is losing hair and has scabs, it sound like mange and you should take it to the vet. If it's sarcoptic mange, it's very contagious to other dogs and to humans.

Does the hair of a dog with parvo fall out?and if it does are there scabs there?

no... some dogs just shed at different times of the season... i think you would knoe if your dog had a disease it would be attacking you i think...

Okay, take a deep breath and take everything one at a time. Just keep a positive attitude and go out there and make some friends, even if you are more shy its easy make friends with one of your kids parents and get all the help you can get. I dont know alot about the legal system but i know that it takes time put your mind away from that and focus on the things that matter. I hope the best for you all i can say is keep a chin up and there are people out there willing to help dont keep this all in it is too much of a burden!!!!

What do you say when its too much?

Hello, we all go through tough times not being rude to you or saying that your not having a rough but Ive had a hell of a lot worse, and you will be just fine. The way I handled things was one day at a time one step at a time, get the ball rolling, keep pestering those who misplaced your case, keep hassling SS to forward your papers be nice and persistent , you do have rights, use the Internet to find out what they are and how to go about it, I'm not familiar with social security in America(i assume that's where you are)You have yourself, so be strong and stick up for yourself when you have no one else to help you. Look at all the things you do have and appreciate them, however small they are. Ask a neighbour if you can borrow their vac *** , make them a cake and go over and ask, they can only say no,so ask the next neighbour.USe your time to help yourself instead of feeling sorry for yourself, and always keep smiling cause you never know who may be admiring you from afar . All the best to you !:)

What do you say when its too much?

Wow. I kinda feel your pain. I'm pretty much looking for an answer, too. My problem is not the same as your problem, but I have alot of stress, too. I know you don't want any religious answers, but the only thing that has kept me going is prayer. I am really pleasant person, most of the time. But lately, I'm having mood swings. I'm mean, I'm slacking on my work, then I'm depressed and trying to save the world (my company). I've had a lot of lows and lower lows. And I was wondering, when do you say something? When do you ask someone for help? I hate asking people for help and certainly don't want to seem mentally unstable or anything. Just hold on. PRAY! And one thing I know for sure. You absolutely ask for help before you do something detrimental to yourself or someone else. That could be anything from drinking to suicide. And remember that God never gives us more than we can handle. So as hard as it is, just know that you're strong enough. Take care of yourself.

What do you say when its too much?

well I hate to tell you this but it could be alot worse just be thankful for what you do have I always think about how bad off other people are and that makes me be grateful for the stuff I'm going through nd I have been through alot in my life time and I am only 24 I have lost two children 1at birth and the other at 8 months and have had 3 c-sections in 4 years my teeth are horrible and I'm trying to go to college with 3 kids I have to move out of my house in 11 days and haven't found a place yet and haven't got sleep in 3 days so trust me I feel for you just take it one mental breakdown at a time you will make it through it just think tomorrow is another day and it could be the day everything turns around so I wish you luck just have hope it wouldn't happen if it's not supposed to it just makes you a stronger person

What do you say when its too much?

Anyone on this site could write a paragraph about what is bad in their life. What you probably need to do is keep as good of a record of the things that go right, and the things that are good in your life. You seem to have documented even the smallest thing that went wrong, so now start doing the same for even the smallest thing that goes right. You will usualy find that there are more good things than bad in your life. Always be thankful for what you have, not bitter about what you don't have.

What do you say when its too much?

When things get absolutely too much to handle, that you feel like there is no where to go or turn, pray to God, and ASK God for help! I am not one of those religious fanatics, but there has been times in my life, when I was at the end of my rope, and didn't have any more answers. I just said, God, I'm giving you my problems, and you handle them! You know what? God never let me down yet! You must have faith, even when things seem totally impossible, and you feel you've hit a dead end in everything you do, or every way you turn, you cant give up, you must keep trying even though it may not seem like your getting anywhere, keep trying, and you really must give it up to God, I usually got an answer within 48 hours when Ive done that. Hope things get better, and if you need help, keep searching, there is always someone out there that cares enough to give advice, or help!

What do you say when its too much?

Question is this on the soap. or are you for real really .I can't even begin to imagine, what to respond. If your on the up-n-up time for a cool change get out of the negative and shift gears, thats no way to what you might call living that is a storyline for the afternoon soaps.

Does a hair of the dog?

hair of the dog means when u r starting to hangover take a few drinks , usually what u were drinking. it works as in getting u drunk again to the state u were b4 u hungover.but i find if u drink plenty of fluids between drinks if u r drinking things such as beer. or if spirits and mixer, put plenty of mixer in. it helps u not to dehydrate therefore not as bad a hangover. hope this works for u.

Does a hair of the dog?

What my family does for a remedy is that we open up a beer and drink half of the can, then pour in clamato and a lot of lemon juice and some salt back in to the can and chug it all down. It really does seem to work. The hardest part is that you need to drink half of the beer can. lol. You can pour out half but that is, as we all know, a sin. Hope this helps.

.

Does a hair of the dog?

yes, it works. You feel like **** because your body is with drawling from the alcohol. If you give your body more you are no longer with drawling, get it? it will catch up to you though.

It does work, but only postpones the hangover. Its not a cure. You have to come down some time.

Can beanie babies be washed in the washing machine?

I got a rather large collection of mini TY beanie babies fron the mcdonalds collection. They are pretty dirty from my sister playing with them. They are covered in dog hair too. I want to know if I can put them all in the washing machine. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Can beanie babies be washed in the washing machine?

I did it before, it works and then you can pout them in the dryer a little bit to make them fluffy again

Can beanie babies be washed in the washing machine?

Try putting them inside a pillowcase on the delicate cycle. Don't do it often as the beans inside will start to leak out.

Can beanie babies be washed in the washing machine?

yes but besure to remove tags and wash on delicate cycle though if you remove the tags wont they loose value?

Can beanie babies be washed in the washing machine?

I do it all the time! I put them in a mesh lingerie bag and wash and dry them.

Can beanie babies be washed in the washing machine?

yes u can but on a low wash Bab and then hang them to dry

Can beanie babies be washed in the washing machine?

No unless u like soggy tags.

Can beanie babies be washed in the washing machine?

i dont think itll do any harm if u wash them, but i think its a bad idea to dry them.... they might shrink! If u wanna be extra carefull wash them by hand! and then put them to dry.. thats wat i do with my teddy.

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

A friend of mine said her mom was going bald, someone told her about using dog shampoo, she did for a couple of months and then hair started growing back. Someone else I know uses it also and her hair is shiney and has alot of body to it.

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

Haven't heard of using dog shampoo, but there is a shampoo out called Mane %26amp; Tail, that is often used on horses which is supposed to help with thinning hair when used in conjunction with the conditioner of the same name.

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

unexplained side effects: barking, sniffing, and peeing outside...

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

No, I haven't heard of that before, but I have heard of dogmange shampoo for the hair. BUt you mix it in some vaseline or royal crown hair grease and grease your hair 3 times a week with it to grow your hair back.

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

Yeah sweetie dont do that it helps the first couple of times but after that it could damage your hair and you could probally even get an infection theres a reason dog shampoo is called DOG shampoo its specifically for DOGS!!

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

I heard of people using horse shampoo, but not dog. Then again I might of heard dog too, can't remember...8\

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

I have also heard of people using horse shampoo, so it is not unusual for people to find animal products that they like better.

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

I wouldn't trust it. I used dog shampoo on my dog once, and he got warts.

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

i haven't heard it used for body or to grow hair. i have heared of it being used to get rid of lice. so unless you have lice i wouldn't try it. i mean it is made for dogs not humans, there has to be a reason for that.

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

no

Has anyone ever heard of using dog shampoo, for fullness and it helps grow hair?

i havent heard of that. I know the pH balance is way different in it than in people shampoo. So it could give her scalp problems. I know this, cause I washed my pooch in suave, and he got dandruff and dry skin, so I had to ask the vet. I wouldn't do it, it could cause more problems than it could help.

I will be buying furniture (a couch and love seat) soon....?

What are the pro's and con's of the different fabrics...leather, suede, normal cloth. I don't have any kids, but I have an indoor German Shepherd that's not allowed on the furniture. So, dog hair will be an issue.

I will be buying furniture (a couch and love seat) soon....?

LEATHER IS THE WAY TO GO ESPECIALLY WITH A DOG THAT HAS LOTS OF HAIR. SUEDE WILL COLLECT ALL KINDS OF STUFF AND IT'S HARD TO GET OFF AND KEEP CLEAN. REGULAR CLOTH IS EASY TO BE PICKED AND RIPPED, AND DEPENDING ON THE COLR SCHEME, WILL SHOW DIRT AND WEAR. LEATHER CAN BE WASHED DOWN, AND PATCHED IF TORE. YOU CAN GET LEATHER REPAIR KITS AT WAL-MART...CHEAP!!! IF YOU FEAR YOUR DOG WILL GET ON YOUR FURNITURE WHILE YOUR GONE, THER IS A SPRAY ALSO AT WAL-MART THAT YOU SPRAY WHERE EVER YOU WANT YOUR ANIMAL TO STAY OFF OF.

I will be buying furniture (a couch and love seat) soon....?

if ur dog is an issue, u can get a cover for the couch, or just get leather which will be more simpler with a dog in the house.

I will be buying furniture (a couch and love seat) soon....?

Leather or a man made leather. It's easy to keep clean. Though leather you need to keep it conditioned. Man made leather doesn't need any special treatment. Now the in thing is micro-fiber, kind of like a suade material. It is really easy to clean and stains to set in too easy.

I will be buying furniture (a couch and love seat) soon....?

Definitely get leather. It is cooler in summer and warm in winter and so easy to clean and dog hair doesn't stick to it .Leather doesn't stain if wiped up.And leather will last 10 times as long as any cloth.

I will be buying furniture (a couch and love seat) soon....?

You can afford it? Leather Baby! cleans and wipes off and you should know that. There is a rhyme that goes with this question?

I will be buying furniture (a couch and love seat) soon....?

Leather is the strongest fabric available and easy to clean, plus looks better as it ages, unlike fabric. Dog hair will not stick but claws will flaw the leather if your puppy is a scratcher. But do not cheap out and buy vinyl, even if it looks really good, will not last, it just cracks. But buy what you like, it's only furniture!

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficientl

working mothers,, any tips on how to manage time better?

wake up at 5:00 find the dishes, then wash them

shower?? if time?

get ready for work, manage to not get any spills, dog hair, before then

soccer, dance, football, and all at the same time in different towns.

screaming babys, poo diapys, and manage to take a yoga class, or grocery shop too??

HOW do you do it , are you SUPER WOMAN ????

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

perhaps you might consider hiring someone to help after school or at times when the kids have activities?

dont' forget to take time out for you.... this might be a good way to do it.

hire someone to come in and do the heavy housework once a week or every two.

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

Super Woman is a perfect term to describe these women........but mostly its just time management, prioritising and a lot of love and affection that keeps them going.

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

Can't exactly say how, when you got to do it you just do. You will find yourself falling into a routine that works for you, until then it's gonna be tough.

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

If you work that many hours consider hiring someone to help with housework and possibly carting kids to activities.

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

Being organized helps. Make a schedule for your household duties. No one is super woman and devoting 60 hours to work means that your home life will suffer unless you can afford a nanny or a maid...

When my husband and I were both working the house wasn't that clean and the kids didn't get much more than the basic care, we made dinner some nights but ate out a lot. Now that my husband is a stay at home dad the house is clean, we have more home made dinners, and I get to come home from work and play with the kids...

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

I'll ask the security guard here. She's been working 60hr weeks and she has 4 kids. I was kidding her about her time available and asked her to leave her cape(SUPERWOMAN) at home while at work, lol.

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

Well, I would only have one activity for each kid, and they all must be local.

If you hire a mother's helper/babysitter she can get the groceries and drive them to playdates/haircuts/clothes shopping/whatever.

Make all appointments at the beginning of the year. Order everything online.

Go to FlyLady.net for household routines and hire a cleaner.

Or, do it all but cut back on your hours, or be a SAHM.

Don't take a yoga class, do all your positions at home, one every time you get up, go to bed, or after the bathroom.

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

mothers are considered superwoman in my eyesight.

I am a mother also. and being a parent is a full time responsibility.

You are not just working 60 hours a week, you are working 168 hours a week.. 24/7.

Between getting the kids ready for school, getting the house clean before you have to rush to work, taking the kids to various school activities, picking the baby up from daycare to find out hes been sitting in his dirty diaper for the past 4 hours, trying to find time to attend the kids sports events, coming home and fixing them a snack while trying to do laundry, feed and walk the dog, bundle up the kids in the car and take them grocery shopping with you and having to keep a close eye on them to make sure nothing gets "accidentally" put in their pockets, managing a homecooked meal before your husband gets off of work while having to hear, "Mom! Jada hit me!" or "Oopss" with your response as "Oops what?" and the horrible reply of "nothing". Getting the kids to do their homework, while you struggle to remember what integers were, when they ask you for help. TRYING to get the kids to bed by 9, wake up at 11 to feed the baby, wake up again at 4 because one of them had a nightmare and wants mom to comfort them. And when he gets home and you two finally get some quality time together, and he says to you, "My day was rough.. how was yours?"

And you smile and say, "Oh, it was a piece of cake."

Mothers are born to be superwoman, the ability to compromise, to mentor, to be the piece-maker, be a housewife, manage a fulltime job, and still take care of the house.

Kudos to all the mothers out there!!!!

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

cut back on the hrs or the games, is there a spouse? or maybe some one can help you out? working 60 hrs a wk is going too knock you on your butt pretty soon......

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

First, only try to do what you can do.

Second, train the kids to be responsible.

Third, don't waste money or time. A penny saved is a penny earned and so is a minute.

Spoiled kids are the biggest time wasters ever invented.

:-) Been there, done that, am not doing it again.

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

We cant do everything all by ourselves, first we pray and ask for guidance in managing our time.2nd set a day for each chores and activities. You cant do everything all at the same time, plan your priorities,If you can have someone to help you then better

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

My schedule is pretty much like that...I just prioritize and welcome any help when offered. But there are drawbacks, I sometimes feel resentful that I don't have enough time for myself and that's when I get easily frustrated. Try to schedule your activities..otherwise you'll get burnout.

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

You have to use good time management skills. And from what I have read you DO have them, but it seems that you are taking on too much with too little time. You will first have to prioritize whats most important and what MUST be done (ie. work, your kids and thier sports, grocery shopping, cleaning, etc) apart from what you WANT/DESIRE to do (ie. yoga, and extra activities). Obviously you will need to omit from your schedule the extras WANTS/DESIRES one by one (selfless sacrifice) putting your MUST's first, until you can manage your time more efficiently. Eventually you find a happy medium, to where you can squeeze in little bits and pieces of what you want to do.....Or the other option is to hire a nanny/live-in-babysitter!! Let me know how it turns out!

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

Super woman you definitely are, you have my respect and admiration.

How do you manage to work 60 hours a week, take the kids to soccer, football, doctor appts.efficiently?

You have kids and a husband make them help out. Give them all a set of chores that each one has to do. You are not supposed to do it all by yourself. When you wake up at 5am make the coffee and then go get in the shower do your makeup and hair but don't get dressed stay in your robe. Hubby can get the kids out of bed. While kids are getting dressed you or hubby make breakfast and lunches. If you have a dishwasher have the kids put the breakfasts dishes in it while you go and get dressed. As for the soccer, dance, football, Talk with some other parents there and see if you can carpool. Grocery shopping. Become a member of a warehouse club like Sams Warehouse. Buy in bulk this way you do not have to grocery shop every week. It also saves you money. During the week make quick dinners or dinners that can be cooked in a crockpot while you are at work. My husband and I like to cook all of the meals for the week on the weekend then we just have to pop them in the microwave during the week. It takes 2 to 3 hours to do the meal on the weekends but it saves a ton of time during the week. We make the main course and a side dish and then cook vegetables during the week to go with it. We also use paper plates during the week. Hope some of these suggestions help

POLL:Hair of the Dog or Human Being?

Which song is your favorite from the album the Spaghetti Incident?, by Guns n Roses?

POLL:Hair of the Dog or Human Being?

Hair of the Dog. That was one of the best cover songs that they've had

Hair of the dog, but guns and roses was not the original singers to this song, it was Nazareth, back in the mid 70's

POLL:Hair of the Dog or Human Being?

Hair of the Dog!!!!!!!!! Ya'll don't mess with a son of a

POLL:Hair of the Dog or Human Being?

Hair of the Dog its way better than Human Being.

POLL:Hair of the Dog or Human Being?

sorry man...but i never heard those songs.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

yes

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Not for me.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Nooooo it will only cause more trouble.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Yes. Have a nice greasy fry up first then hair of the dog

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

You can avoid hangovers by staying drunk all the time. Just don't expect to live very long.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Yep.

But a good meal, plenty of water and a paracetemol will do you more good in the long run.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Yes, often times it does.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

It works for the dog (unless it's a Mexican Halrless)

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

No, it just prolongs the agony

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Are you serious? Of course it works !!!

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Im not sure if drinking more booze the next day is really a good idea. But if you want to take your mind off a hangover, then why not check out the girls and guys on www.hairofthedog.co.uk ok may not be a cure, but it helps ! :-)

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

yes i think so but dont get tempted to have to much again.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Yes but sooner or later you will still get the hangover!

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

No, you just end up where you started.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

no makes ya worse!!!!!!

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

my husband says it does...ha ha!

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

yes you cant have a hangover if you stay drunk

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

it works for MI6

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

most of the time yes....what ever kills ya cures ya

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

I've been sober for a number of years but will tell you that while I was a very active drunk it did work for me on many occassions.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Yeah, I'm plucking a few out of my Labrador Refrigerator right now!

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

it didnt work for me

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

It works because you avoid the hangover by staying drunk. If you have a 'stiff' drink and then come out of you drunkenness slowly you can avoid all the ill effects - or at least, you won't notice them quite so much. Not to be recommended, though.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

I don't think so - it basically puts off the hangover, not cures it!! You'd feel better for a while but the hangover would come later! I'd rather get it over and done with really!!

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

As an ex-drinker I can assure it does work, but once you start along that road,it leads to dependence,so please just work your way through the hang-over.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

Never!!!!!!!!!!

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

It works great if you'd rather flirt with acute alcoholism than suffer a hangover.

The trouble with dog-hair is, sooner or later you're going to pay the piper. And the longer you put it off, the worse it's going to be.

If you have a little hangover now, so you put a little more alcohol in there, what do you think you'll have pretty soon?

Gut cramps, bloating, vomiting, diarrhea... maybe a DUI or other arrest. At least in jail or at the hospital, you're going to sober up.

At any rate, you're better off paying now than paying a 20% interest fee for each additional drink, plus your original 100%. Hair of the Dog is a really sh!tty credit card.

That hangover doesn't seem all that bad once you've seen it through. But that mega-hangover is a real MF.

Hangovers are nature's way of telling you had a little too much.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

9 times out of 10 for me

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

am not a big drinker, but on the rare occasion i have had too many, i do find hair of the dog works well! also drinking a mixture of water, salt and sugar solution helps to balance the electrolytes, so that alongside the alcoholic drink and you are sorted!

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

no it does not work, it just gets you pissed again. You will still have a hangover later.

Does Hair of the Dog work ?

No, sorry your hangover is caused by dehydration of your brain. The pain is your brain trying to get back to its correct size. Drink plenty of water while you are out drinking alchohol.

How to rehab doggie couch?

Hi, we inherited a nice green velvet couch from the previous inhabitant of our apartment but it is covered in white dog hair and smells of hound. The cushion covers have no cleaning information on them. Is it possible to surface clean to make it nice again or do I have to take the covers off and take my chances with the washing machine or dry cleaner? Thank you!

How to rehab doggie couch?

I would not suggest putting velvet in the washing machine this will only ruin the fabric, you can take off the dog hair by wearing a rubber glove and moisten it then just wipe over the couch and the hair will come off with the glove then just take off the hair off the glove with your fingers there is also another way to remove dog hair and that is to purchase a horse wash glove it is made of rubber and has little finger like nodules all over it you can moisten the glove and wipe over it just as I explained above with other tip You can also use a used dryer sheet just fold it over in your hand and wipe over the couch it will pull off the hair when cloth gets full just pull off the hair or replace with a new dryer sheet if you want to freshen the couch just use a fresh dryer sheet and rub over the couch it will clean and freshen also and leave a wonderful scent in the room

Clean carpets and upholstery

Lift out stains from carpeting and upholstery by sponging them with 1 cup clear ammonia in 1/2 gallon (2 liters) warm water. Let dry thoroughly, and repeat if needed.

whipped" laundry detergent. You just take a scoop of powdered detergent, add a bit of water and whip it in the blender. Take a cleaning rag, get a little of this whipped stuff and clean it gently. Afterwards to "rinse" take a clean wet rag and wipe down any leftover residue from your upholstery. I also use a small fan to help it dry. I've also heard of doing this with shampoo.

OxyClean. I mixed it up according to the instructions and went over my entire sofa in less than half an hour. My sofa came out almost as clean as new and I didn't even rinse it. At the end of summer I did it again and that sofa looks better than it did when I had it professionally cleaned! So for about an hour of my time and very little money I have an almost new piece of furniture.

I use an inexpensive product in my carpet cleaner for my carpets and upholstery. It works best on the toughest grime including cigarette smoke and residues. I use it on my walls, floors, stove and just about everywhere. But dilute it for items of color just in case fading may occur. The product is called "Mean Green". This is not to be confused with "simple green". It can be found at most dollar stores, Family Dollar, and Dollar Zones.

If you rent a rug doctor that has the upholstery attachment, put half the amount of Mean Green that the cleaner requires for upholstery. Do a test spot first, of course. You can do that by spraying a squirt from the bottle directly on an inconspicuous spot and wiping it with a damp white washcloth. If Mean Green won't get the stains out, I promise you, nothing will!

Woolite Good for Delicate Cleaning

I have cleaned upholstery with Woolite foam (aerosol), and it works well. I have also whipped Woolite liquid soap or mild dish detergent mixed with water into a foam. I then spread the foam on the upholstery, let it dry, vacuumed it off, and then wiped it off with a cloth lightly dampened with diluted vinegar to remove any soap residue. That worked well, too, and was cheaper and more ecologically sound

Baby Wipes Clean Upholsteryuse baby wipes to clean furniture. When I had my own child, and a whole new category of spills, I was amazed with how well it worked. There isn't too much water and soap, but enough to get stains and dirt out.

Spray Upholstery Cleaner Worked Great

I cleaned a couch with spray upholstery cleaner and it came out beautiful! It had been in a house with animals, so it smelled like dogs and cats, but after I cleaned it, it smelled good and looks like new! I did, however, follow the recommendation on the can and test a small spot on the back of the couch first to make sure it would not damage the upholstery! I think it cost me about $5.

I have found a gold mine! Get some "Tuff Stuff" at Wal-Mart, grocery, auto store etc. Try it on an inconspicuous spot for color fastness, then clean away! My husband has a recliner that is over 12 years old, sits in it every day and it got horrendously dirty. I had a couple professionals try to clean it, but to no avail. Dad told me about this stuff. I bought it, used it and that chair is as clean as the day it was bought! Use it on pet stains, clothing stains etc. It's fantastic stuff

I've learned for getting smells out of those fibers works just as well on other fibers and fabrics. Just mix water and vodka in a 1:1 ratio and spritz it right on. Works as well as commercial products like Febreeze. It evaporates quickly, leaving no alcohol-scent behind.

The Fake Febreeze Recipe

2 C. Fabric Softener

2 C. Baking Soda

4 C. warm water

Mix and place in a spritzing bottle. Use just like you would the expensive Febreeze from the store. If you want, you can use the unscented fabric softener and then add a few drops of essential oil to make it a scent that you prefer. I just use Snuggle.

Or you can sprinkle on Baking Soda and leave on for several hours then vacuum up this will leave your couch smelling fresh again even a little spray of undiluted White Vinegar will work just pour in a spray bottle and spray lightly over the couch and allow to dry

Good Luck !

How to rehab doggie couch?

Your Welcome and thank you for choosing my answer as best Report It

How to rehab doggie couch?

no idea but the way you worded the question was hilarious

How to rehab doggie couch?

I don't know a lot about velvet. My wife and I had a steam carpet cleaning company come out and clean our couch when our cat was sick and began peeing all over it. It worked quite well.

How to rehab doggie couch?

might as well try. its not like you paid for the couch so you really wouldnt be losing anything.

and its green and velvet.. kinda ugly, right?

How to rehab doggie couch?

Velvet Care and Cleaning

The most effective and safest way to clean velvet furniture is to have it professionally cleaned. However, if you do want to try it yourself, you can try mixing 1/2 teaspoon of dishwashing detergent with water, shake it up well, and apply the suds only. Apply only a small amount, and blot between applications. Be careful not to get the fabric very wet. If this is not effectively removing the stains, try using dry cleaning solvent. Be sure to keep everyone off the furniture for at least 24 hours after cleaning. Once it is clean, I would recommend treating it with Scotch Gard, or another fabric protector to make future cleanings much easier.:) Good Luck!
