Super Woman is a perfect term to describe these women........but mostly its just time management, prioritising and a lot of love and affection that keeps them going.

Can't exactly say how, when you got to do it you just do. You will find yourself falling into a routine that works for you, until then it's gonna be tough.

If you work that many hours consider hiring someone to help with housework and possibly carting kids to activities.

Being organized helps. Make a schedule for your household duties. No one is super woman and devoting 60 hours to work means that your home life will suffer unless you can afford a nanny or a maid...

When my husband and I were both working the house wasn't that clean and the kids didn't get much more than the basic care, we made dinner some nights but ate out a lot. Now that my husband is a stay at home dad the house is clean, we have more home made dinners, and I get to come home from work and play with the kids...

I'll ask the security guard here. She's been working 60hr weeks and she has 4 kids. I was kidding her about her time available and asked her to leave her cape(SUPERWOMAN) at home while at work, lol.

Well, I would only have one activity for each kid, and they all must be local.

If you hire a mother's helper/babysitter she can get the groceries and drive them to playdates/haircuts/clothes shopping/whatever.

Make all appointments at the beginning of the year. Order everything online.

Go to FlyLady.net for household routines and hire a cleaner.

Or, do it all but cut back on your hours, or be a SAHM.

Don't take a yoga class, do all your positions at home, one every time you get up, go to bed, or after the bathroom.

mothers are considered superwoman in my eyesight.

I am a mother also. and being a parent is a full time responsibility.

You are not just working 60 hours a week, you are working 168 hours a week.. 24/7.

Between getting the kids ready for school, getting the house clean before you have to rush to work, taking the kids to various school activities, picking the baby up from daycare to find out hes been sitting in his dirty diaper for the past 4 hours, trying to find time to attend the kids sports events, coming home and fixing them a snack while trying to do laundry, feed and walk the dog, bundle up the kids in the car and take them grocery shopping with you and having to keep a close eye on them to make sure nothing gets "accidentally" put in their pockets, managing a homecooked meal before your husband gets off of work while having to hear, "Mom! Jada hit me!" or "Oopss" with your response as "Oops what?" and the horrible reply of "nothing". Getting the kids to do their homework, while you struggle to remember what integers were, when they ask you for help. TRYING to get the kids to bed by 9, wake up at 11 to feed the baby, wake up again at 4 because one of them had a nightmare and wants mom to comfort them. And when he gets home and you two finally get some quality time together, and he says to you, "My day was rough.. how was yours?"

And you smile and say, "Oh, it was a piece of cake."

Mothers are born to be superwoman, the ability to compromise, to mentor, to be the piece-maker, be a housewife, manage a fulltime job, and still take care of the house.

Kudos to all the mothers out there!!!!

First, only try to do what you can do.

Second, train the kids to be responsible.

Third, don't waste money or time. A penny saved is a penny earned and so is a minute.

Spoiled kids are the biggest time wasters ever invented.

:-) Been there, done that, am not doing it again.

We cant do everything all by ourselves, first we pray and ask for guidance in managing our time.2nd set a day for each chores and activities. You cant do everything all at the same time, plan your priorities,If you can have someone to help you then better

My schedule is pretty much like that...I just prioritize and welcome any help when offered. But there are drawbacks, I sometimes feel resentful that I don't have enough time for myself and that's when I get easily frustrated. Try to schedule your activities..otherwise you'll get burnout.

You have to use good time management skills. And from what I have read you DO have them, but it seems that you are taking on too much with too little time. You will first have to prioritize whats most important and what MUST be done (ie. work, your kids and thier sports, grocery shopping, cleaning, etc) apart from what you WANT/DESIRE to do (ie. yoga, and extra activities). Obviously you will need to omit from your schedule the extras WANTS/DESIRES one by one (selfless sacrifice) putting your MUST's first, until you can manage your time more efficiently. Eventually you find a happy medium, to where you can squeeze in little bits and pieces of what you want to do.....Or the other option is to hire a nanny/live-in-babysitter!! Let me know how it turns out!

You have kids and a husband make them help out. Give them all a set of chores that each one has to do. You are not supposed to do it all by yourself. When you wake up at 5am make the coffee and then go get in the shower do your makeup and hair but don't get dressed stay in your robe. Hubby can get the kids out of bed. While kids are getting dressed you or hubby make breakfast and lunches. If you have a dishwasher have the kids put the breakfasts dishes in it while you go and get dressed. As for the soccer, dance, football, Talk with some other parents there and see if you can carpool. Grocery shopping. Become a member of a warehouse club like Sams Warehouse. Buy in bulk this way you do not have to grocery shop every week. It also saves you money. During the week make quick dinners or dinners that can be cooked in a crockpot while you are at work. My husband and I like to cook all of the meals for the week on the weekend then we just have to pop them in the microwave during the week. It takes 2 to 3 hours to do the meal on the weekends but it saves a ton of time during the week. We make the main course and a side dish and then cook vegetables during the week to go with it. We also use paper plates during the week. Hope some of these suggestions help
