I have never heard of this symptom. The only signs of parvo I know of is vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite, dehydration, and lethargy.

When my puppy had parvo, he never lost any hair or had scabs. Not sure what that would be.

What you are describing sounds more like mange or some other skin related issue.

You should take the dog to the vet for a skin scrapping. Some mange and other skin fungi can spread to humans, so be careful.

Hair loss and scabs have nothing to do with Parvo. It may have to do with mange, fleas, ringworm, allergies, skin infection, or hypothryoidism.

Scabs and hair falling out aren't symptoms of Parvo. I should know I've breed dogs most of my life. I reccomend taking your dog to the vet to see what it does have.

ok.. I was going to answer yes to both because of a disease a dog had at the shelter! But to make sure I didnt give you the wrong answer I did some research, since I want to be a vet, I have all these vet books!

No for both! Parvo is a disease that atacts the immune system, making them normaly have bloody diarehea.

Also it normaly happens in puppy, but not always!!

If your dog does have parvo, which I'm assuming it does, take it to your vet, and keep it away from other dogs, because this is an easily spread disease! Also I would work fast because ti can kill your dog if it is not treated fast enough!

Parvo involves a virus that attacks the intestinal system causing awful diarrhea, vomiting, and blood in both.

If your dog is losing hair and has scabs, it sound like mange and you should take it to the vet. If it's sarcoptic mange, it's very contagious to other dogs and to humans.

no... some dogs just shed at different times of the season... i think you would knoe if your dog had a disease it would be attacking you i think...
