Check inside her ears--she may have earwax buildup. Ours had the same problem earlier this week. She was constantly shaking her head, so my husband got out the Q-Tips, just like for us. Make sure someone holds her head carefully but firmly, so she doesn't move, and clean out the areas AROUND the ear canal--don't insert the Q-Tip into it, because she might squirm and you might puncture her eardrum. Also, there are earwax removers, with eardrops and balls you fill with water to wash out the wax once the drops soften it. If these don't work, have her checked at the vet's office, but this is probably what it is.

She may have an ear infection, dirty ears or ear mites. your vet will have stuff you can get to clean her ears and antibioitcs if the ears are infected.

Have her checked for ear mites or ear infection. Do her ears look red and sore, or have a bad smell? If so, she needs medication from the vet. By sheepdog. do you mean old english? Perhaps there's a lot of hair in the ears and she needs some of it plucked.

Sounds like an ear infection, get her to the vet. If you are having her groomed, they may be getting water in her ears. Have them pack the ears before grooming. We had to do this with my Mom's dog and it did the trick! Good Luck!

It sounds like an ear infection or ear mites. Though it could be both. Go to the vet and they will check her out. Also, if you dog has floppy ears they get dirty easily, they should be cleaned regularly. Because the dirt that gets trapped in there can cause infection and makes a nice little home for mites.

check her ears my border collie gross lab had tanka, in her years it was all cuts and muck she'd picked up from the kennel, she stayed in and used to get it when she was a bit run down

Lots of plants drop seed pods in the fall and a lot of them are designed to be hitch hikers. Dogs with long coats and/or floppy ears pick them up easily. We frequently see animals with seed pods that have worked their way into soft tissue around the head, shoulders and feet and actually need to be removed surgically. Take your dog to her vet to check for infection or any parasites. Be very careful if you use Q-Tips or anything else in her ears... you can accidentally chase something you can't see further into her ears. Good Luck.

Try Canaural from your vet,drops that you rub in to ease discomfort and reduce ear wax. Do get it treated because ear canker can occur if the dog shakes it head too violently the small blood vessels burst causing the ear to swell hugely and then needs to be operated on. Treatment sooner rather than later

WELL MY DOG HAS A MAD SKIN CONDITION IN HER EAR AND SHE SCRATCHES HER EARS ALL THE TIME GET CHECKED BY THE VET HE WILL PROBABLY GIVE U EAR DROPS I DOES HELP IF U KEEP IT UP (IT COULD ALSO BE MIGHTS OR FLEES)

more likely than not, she has an ear infection. take her to the vet so they can look at it. its just your dogs way of saying that her ear hurts

It might be canker. Dogs get this. Very easy to treat. Get some drops from your vet.

sounds like she either has a bit of wax in her ear or it could be ear mites, sooner you get her t a vet the better your chances are for catching it fast before it gets worse then she will have t get anibiotics n everything
