Dog has more hair in the wintertime........it will be shedding heavily soon as it gets warmer.

OK.. think about it ,dogs were out door pack animals until we humans domesticated them , now , in the winter nature provieds these pack animals with extra protection as in more fur , but your pet is indoors but forgot to tell Mother Nature that it didn't need its fur coat this year ..thus your dog has more fur = your dog sheds more , plus if it's dry in your house that will make it shed more yet .. brush him daily feed him regularly make sure he gets the proper foods and I would recomend going to a drug store buying a bottle of Omega-6 or 3-6-9 as it is called sometimes .. you can buy it at a Walmart drug store as a genaric ( lots cheaper then a vet )

see the link below I am not advertising for that site but you can read the info on omega for pets ..

the dog is blowing it's winter coat, kind of like getting ready for summer time with a new hair style.i know this becauseat the vet office i work we see this quite often. if the shedding is a problem, you can get a "furminator" which is grooming tool that will help remove the under coat. they can be bought at petsmart, or any pet store
